Most of us seem hardwired for safety and thinking in terms of I rather than We. Whether these behaviors come out of cultural scripts wired from an early age or simply, the fallen human heart, I've noticed how my default setting is for what's known, tested, and requires little faith. And no matter how much I value the experience of community, my default setting is to frame life and the pursuits of life within the very small box of me, myself and I.
