Guides for Further Study
Interested in spending more time in study and prayer after Tuesday Night talks? Guides are now posted on "Thoughts from the UM Office" to help you out! Reflect and answer questions in your journal, or grab some friends and discuss together. And if you find that you have questions rolling around in your head and want someone to talk to, Spencer and Natalie are always available to listen and provide insight. SOS Mission: "Our mission is to help people make a transition to a better life. We do this through emergency services, friendship, mentoring, transition assistance, and win-win relationships with our community." SOS is a community outreach program that UM students are involved with every week. Each Thursday night meeting includes a free meal (provided by various groups in the Malibu community) and a bible study with those in Malibu who are homeless, needy, lonely or in transition. Hey Everyone! Looking for a way to get connected at UM? How about getting involved in one of the Student Ministries? These ministries range from greeting and welcoming at Tuesday Night UM, serving the homeless in Malibu, connecting with fellow Freshmen, creating fellowship through sports, to being available for prayer. UM is a wonderful place to find community, and a great step toward finding that community is to first get involved.
