Meet our Summer Interns!

Meet our summer interns...one familiar face to MPC and one new!

Sarah Campbell has worked with Children's and Family Ministry at Malibu Pres since she was a Junior at Pepperdine in 2006.  Sarah's passion and commitment to children is infectious. If you know Sarah, you know that her joy overflows as well as her genuine love for life and people. 

Sarah is pursing an acting career while also teaching drama to inner city kids at World Impact. We are very blessed to get to have Sarah, one of our Sunday School teachers, work with us this summer. Sarah is originally from Ventura, CA where her parents and 3 younger sisters still reside. Sarah likes spending time with her boyfriend Eric, creating music videos on YouTube and spending time with God at the beach.

Christian Flowers has joined our Children's and Family Ministry Team with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. Christian will be a Junior next fall at Pepperdine, and is in Malibu this summer practicing with the water polo team. A Hawaii native, Christian enjoys baseball, surfing and water polo. 

At his home church First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu, Christian served as worship leader for the High School group. He has a brother who will be joining him at Pepperdine this fall as a freshman.

He will continue to work with MPC with our children and families in the next school year. He has fond memories of his own experience growing up in the church and is            excited about being a part of our church family. Please be sure to warmly welcome him!
