I'm about getting to the heart of life, finding contentment, being present to the moments and whatever they may bring. I love savoring the beauty in the outdoors, and creating it indoors. I am a fan of my adorable little black cocker spaniel "Frankie" who has woken me to go outside to see the sunrise in the last year (okay, maybe he wants to go outside for other reasons).
I love beautiful art, film, music, driving scenic routes, digging my feet into the sand, making a great cup of tea, looking into the eyes of a child or a grown-up and seeing their soul. I am a collector of the greatest friends and people. I like to hike through streams and also love getting my nails done. I'm trying to slow my life down so that I can spend more time making people dinner, sitting outside with some friends, and listening to my soul and joining in the rhythm of God's heart to love this world.
I love a quote I read by Maya Angelou that says "the world is changed one child at a time." It reminds me why I think Children's & Family Ministry is so important and valuable. I am grateful to get to share in life with the children and families I encounter in and around Malibu. It is truly my privilege and joy to get to be a part of introducing kids to Jesus and all the beauty, freedom and adventure that life with Him has to offer us.
