I think we've all been there. Waking up at 4:30am with a racing heart - endless worry about (this is where you fill in the blank). Anxiety like this, it's awfully disconcerting. To in a moment wake from dead sleep with the realization that every single circumstance is outside of my control, is well, quite far from peace. More

I love how the Spirit sends the exact right words at the exact right time. To have deep needs realized and met by the Spirit always stuns me and recaptures my awe for the Spirit's insight and the presence of God. It's a beautiful reminder of God's presence in the minutes or even seconds of our lives. More
